If you haven’t paid your 2012 property taxes, you must pay by April 1. After the deadline, a 3-percent interest charge and advertising fees are added to delinquent taxes. Property tax bills are normally mailed to the owner's last address as it appears on the tax roll on or before November 1st of each year.
The following discounts are applied to early property tax payments:
4% discount if paid in November
3% discount if paid in December
2% discount if paid in January
1% discount if paid in February
Discounts are determined by postmark of payment. The full amount is due by April 1, 2013. NO discount is applied in March.
Taxes become delinquent April 2, 2013. Substantial interest and fees apply to late payments.
